Pianist Maria Hämäläinen performed Sibelius at the open doors of the Bank of Finland on January 30, 2017, in honor of Finland's centenary. Works from the Bank of Finland's art collection, such as Akseli Gallen-Kallela's Aino triptych, were combined for the first time with the music of Jean Sibelius, a contemporary of visual artists. The narrative "Masters of the Golden Age," linking the art and music of the Golden Age, was designed by pianist Erkki Korhonen.
