Maria Hamalainen

Born in St. Petersburg, Maria Hamalainen began her music education at the age of five. She graduated from the piano department of the Sibelius Academy at the University of the Arts Helsinki (Finland) and completed her master's degree in art pedagogy. She made her debut in 2014 with a concert accompanied by the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra. She has been invited to perform at many prestigious venues and events, including the Presidential Palace of Finland and the Suolahti International Summer Festival. She has won awards in various classical music competitions across Europe. The artist is experienced in music education according to various methods and curricula, including the Cambridge International Curriculum.
