Pianist Maria Hämäläinen performed at the Nuorten tähtien konsertti (Young Stars Concert) held on July 12, 2024, at the Virtain Church as part of the KesäVirratSoi 2024 festival. Alongside Hämäläinen and fellow Virtain native Veikko Aarnio, rising local talents such as Alli Mankkinen and Alicia Ibanez-Resjan also took the stage. The event was part of a rich festival program that blends classical and light music, held across a variety of venues ranging from churches to school halls and open-air parks.
